Doing the american!

Oh well, I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately. I don't know why, but there is no motivation what so ever. However, a few days ago, I found something that really did cheer me up! Some real american treats!
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups & NutRageous! Honestly, these are soo yummy! Much better than snickers! The Peanut Butter Cups taste just like ...Peanut butter - duh! ~~ Couldn't stop eating them until they were gone!

& Arizona Green Tea IceTea! Just look at that bottle! Very pretty! Have saved it, think I will put some fake flowers in it or something, will look really great in my future kitchen!

NEW IN! Face Stockholm!

Love love love love the nail polish! :>

ASOS | MAKE-UP HAUL

Yes. I've been shopping again. I couldn't really help myself. I don't know what's wrong with me lately, but I've been buying a lot of beauty products, which I normally don't do. Just the odd nailpolish here and there.

First, I have to apologize for this terrible picture. I hate nail-polish with these sort of bottle caps that show of every single fingerprint. With that said, look at all the prettiness. I'm a sucker for glitter, so when I saw that glittery one from Barry M, I knew that I just had to have it. I really like Barry M when it comes to nail polishes, at £3 each, it's not that expensive. They don't stay on for that long, but then again, I never have a nail polish for more than a day or two. That's probably why my nails are in such a bad state at the moment. bleh.

Hot stuff, no lie.
I also bought this. I've used a similar one from POP for a while, and it got ruined for halloween.
(Note to self: NEVER EVER LEND OUT YOUR MAKE-UP TO DRUNK DUDES) So I bought this one instead and so far - I like it better than the POP one, it's more black and it stays on the whole day.

It leavs a really thick line, me likey.

That time again!

Yes, you guessed right! It's another glossybox-post! It seems like I never get around to review the last box, before I receive a new one. I'm just to darn slow. Either way, I love this time of the month. Glossybox really do cheer me up - no matter how blue I feel.
This month was no exception. Look how cute and christmasy the November box was! Candycanes, bows, gingerbread - yummy!
What was hidden beneath the paper was this. A wonder hair-mask, Glossybox blusher, Vichy daycream, Naomi Campbell showergel + perfume sample, and a Modelco lipstick&lipgloss duo.

I liked everything, more or less. The hair mask smells FANTASTIC. It's pineapple, and the scent is very strong but sweet. Can't wait to try this out tonight. The day cream from Vichy also smells very nice. I've never used a day cream before, so this will be interesting. I have a normal skin combo, so this should fit me perfectly. I just hope it doesn't make me break out,.. pfft, that would be awkward. I think I will give the lipgloss/lipstick duo as a christmas gift to my mum. I did like the colour, it's just .. to big for me. I usually wear small bags when I go out, and I found that thing to be quite big and heavy. The thing I was the least exited for was probably the shower gel and perfume sample from Naomi Campbell. I don't know what it is, but the smell is really not for me. I prefer something sweeter.
The last thing I got was this blush from glossybox/kryolan. The color is really pretty pink, and I do like the packaging. Glossybox logo, well, it's a crown, so I can't really disapprove that, heh.

Only two weeks left for the decemberbox+newyearsbox. SO SO HAPPY.

New fave!

I bought this dress a few weeks back, but never got around to show it off to the world! It's from Asos, like most of my clothes. It was reduced to £13, down from £20-25, can't really remember! When I saw it, I just knew I had to have it. I love this sort of dress, as it is quite flattering, and fun with the flare skirt.

Oh, and it has polkadots, and kissmarks. KISS! ~

Thanks, Wrapp.

Recently, I got invited to something called 'Wrapp'. It's a service, that offer you to send FREE giftcards to your facebook-friends! As a freebe-junkie, I jumped to the chance to do this. I've been a member for almost 2 months now, and I've managed to get 3 Malava-nailpolishes, a few christmas presents for my mum and what you see below!
This is a eyeshadow from Nelly.com, that I payed nothing for. The reason why I got this was for Halloween - I was in a desperate need of a white powder, but couldn't find one that wasn't overpriced. However, this arrived monday, 5th November. Which means - Halloween was over. Well well, I can probably use it for something else in the future!
I also got this eyeshadow trio from Nelly.com, and I'm not sure what to do with this! I do adore the colors, and the palette looks quite pretty, but I do already own colors like this. Maybe I'll give it away as a christmas gift to my Sister, or trade it for something else? Hmm,...

Now I have to continue with my ebay-duties, heh, Bye for now!

NEW IN: Rainbow-splash!

A new little dress I picked up from the Asos.com sale last week! I've been wanting this dress since I first saw it last summer, but I thought that the price back then - £40 - was more than I was willing to spend on a summer dress like this. Then it went on sale for £19, and I was so tempted to buy it but didn't. I'm rather cheap when it comes to shopping, and I rather buy a lot of cheaper items, instead of one pricey one. As a student, £19 is still quite a bit for a dress that you have no plans to wear - just hang on the wall. Then, last week, it went down again - £12 this time. I could no longer resist, so I bought it!

Even though I really love the dress, I'm very glad I waited! The fabric isn't that good, and I have a feeling I slightly ripped it when trying it on! However, I can't help but love the whole concept of this dress! The coloursplash of colours. It makes me think of melted rainbows, twirly pop-icecream and adventuretime. Also, it's very much Nyan Cat.

Oh, I do like the open back! The yellow fabric you can see is in the front.
As always on asos - I picked up some anatomical! This time - Shampoo! I gotta say: IT SMELLS FANTASTIC! I have tried a lot of different products from this brand, and I do like it. It's not the best, but it works great if you're on a budget! The bottles feels very fresh, and young .. very .. studentlike.

Last Saturday!

Bohohoh! I just want to start of this bloody boring monday with saying that I had a great weekend!Halloween-party on Saturdaynight, and it was a real treat - for the eyes at least! Spent the whole week preparing - dressmaking, glitterfying-shoes, youtube-tutorial-watching ect!
This is how I turned out! Went for a creepy-doll kind of look, and for a first try - I'm pretty pleased with it! Too bad the eyes are out of focus on this picture though, but what ever! :>

That time of the month

It's time for another glossybox! Yes! It turns a frown into a smile, quite easily! I know that Swedish glossybox have gotten a lot of bad response these last months, people not being happy with the product and the costumer-service. I have nothing to complain about though, I'm completely in love with the glossybox-idea, it lightens up the 'everyday'. Theme for this one ''The beauty of a Geisha'', which is lovely! Gotta love the Japanese culture!
I received following this month: Brilliantsmile mouthwash, Nails Inc mini nailpolish, Love & Toast shower creme, colored lenses from Lenson and a beautybird soap bar. Everyone also received a free geisha chocolatebar! Nom!

There was a lot of things I could use in this box! I love nails Inc, and Love & Toast is a new favorite brand of mine! The soap bar will make a perfect Christmas gift for my mum, and the mouthwash is always needed! The only thing I can't use are the colored lenses, as I've really bad eyesight and have to wear glasses all the time! But I can trade them away!

This Love & Toast shower creme smells just fantastic! Can't wait to try it out!

Chocolate and a nougat colored nailpolish, perfect!

I'm already looking forward to the next box! ^^,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Booooooh,.. booo! *blood-splatter*

Happy Halloween to you all!

It's been kind of a slow day, and it's still going! Perfectly good plans got cancelled due to retardness, and I've felt rather uneasy today! It's just one of those days, I guess! I've on the other hand manage to do something somewhat productive today! I'm almost finished with my Halloween-costume! I'm going out this upcoming saturday, and you have to dress up(YAY! Soo much fun!)! My first thought was to go as a psyco-clown, but as I needed a wig for that - I changed my mind. So instead, I'll be going like this:
It's just a basic sketch, but I'm quite happy with that, even though the sleeves will not look like that! I can't wait to try out that make-up! I've been watching youtube tutorials non-stop these past couple of days, I just home I can pull it off!
I pretty pleased with how it turned out, as I'm really not the seamstress that I wish I could be! The fabric is really soft, like a fake velvet, and it is in a glorious hotpink!
I will wear it with my black organza underskirt, in a 50's shape! To be honest, I think it's a bit too long for me, as I'm on the short side, but it will have to do.
The only thing I'm not quite sure about is the bows! My first thought was to do bows out of the same fabric, and putting them everywhere on the dress! But then I found these two lovelies, that I made a couple of months ago! I completely forgot that I had those, and the pattern is just too pretty to not use! Is it too much to use two different kind of bows? It's Halloween, afterall!

I will post a picture of the whole outfit sometime next week, so you can see how it turned out!

BYYYYYE,
Dollythe

HELLO DARLINGS! ~~

Hello again! ~~

It seems like it's been a while, and I do apologize for that! Somehow, a lot of things have changed over here these last few months, and blogging have not been a big priority! (Nothing too bad, don't you worry!) Well well, I'M READY TO START WRITING AGAIN!

I do apologize in advance, because these coming posts will probably be a lot of tiny hauls, just a few things I've picked up here and there! These things - scrool down - was a swap! I'm a member of a make-up-swapping-group on Facebook! I sent my partner a Opi-Nailpolish, and this is what I got back:

Maybelline Colorama nailpolish in wine, Make Up Store eyeshadow in Gecco
I'm really happy with what I got! Love the red glittery nailpolish! The eyeshadow is a very nice silver, will come in handy during the fall-party months! Can't wait to use it!

xox,

Hard work-work!

I still go to school, even though i graduated last year! Why? Because its simply so much fun! No, not at all actually - but i kind of have to! You see, i changed my main after the first year, which meant i had to repeat that year! So i stead of three years of swedish highschool, i got four with really easy days! Around 2 lessons each day... Its pretty damn good.

But now and again, i still do have work to do! My mum runs à small bed and breakfast, with a bit of catering! Meaning, this weekend is and Will be busy! People everywhere, cooking, baking ect! On todays meny: à rustic moosestew with snowballpotatoes, garlic&butter carrots and beans! For dessert? Homemade applecake with cinnamon and vanilla custard!

Baking is My department, I also made these raspberry&whitechocolate cupcakes for tomorrow! (:

What's been up lately!

 1. Summer finally came, made me happy.
 2. Bought a mini doughnut-maker, made mini dougnuts, loved them.
 3. Bought the bag from Asos that I've been wanting for ages, £8 in the sale, awesome.
 4. Bought new nailpolishes, from Collistar, £2/each in a local sale.
 5. Got lenses for the first time, poked my eye a bit too much, adored the fact that I could see.
 6. Got new glasses, with  a retro feel, makes me feel like a 80's nerd, cool.

A vintage dream in mint

I love what summer do to my room: it makes it all pastely. You see, when may-june arrives, I start to put my summerclothes out, and with that comes all my baby coloured stuff. Dresses, underskirt, cookiejars, necklaces - you name it! One of the things is this dress. It used to belong to my mum, for almost 45 years ago. She had it for her bigbrothers wedding, when she was a flowergirl. It's a bit wrinkled, but I actually like that, it's a great effect to such a simple dress.
I love the tulle, it's really sher and romantic. I would want a dress just like this one, I would wear the crap out of it!
It's homemade, by my old auntie, who also helped me with my promdress. I believe this was one of the first things she actually made herself! It's really well-sewn, and it looks perfect, even though it has quite a few years on it's neck.
I found this little cookie-jar at a fleamarket last week, and I fell in love instantly. Bunnies are normaly not my cup of tea, but I love anything that's related to cookies, so I just had to have this one! It costed me 5SEK/50p/$1, which is really a bargain, if you ask me! :>
BUNNY-BUNNY-BUNNY-BUNNIES!
