SUCKERPUNCH!

Ouchie, that hurts, you see, my lovely little niece were here the other day. I was opening a packaged I got from Ebay, with Hello Kitty stickers inside. She looked at me and said ''Why do you have soo much Hello Kitty? aren't you too old for that?''. I'm not going to lie, that felt bad. Terribad. I'm only 18 .. that's mean, nothing like a grown-up, right?

So.. what do you think? Can you get too old for Kawaii-stuff?

It's not like I have a lot? ^^,

  2. I'm 21 and decorate my flat with Hello Kitty toys. Kids are raised by conservative parents that tell them that cute stuff are for kids, parents that are from a different generation. So don't care about what your niece say, kids tend to see everything in black or white. All the girls/women in my univtersity class love things that are considered "childish". So you are not alone. ;)

  3. No you can never be to old! Hello Kitty is designed just as much for adults as it is for children. You wouldn't give a kid a Hello Kitty "shoulder massager" or a Hello Kitty gun etc... Just go on Hello Kitty Hell & I think your find it more the other way!

Kawaii is for life not just for a quick childhood! ^__<

    1. A Hello Kitty gun? I would have loved that as a youngster, hah, just kidding! But aw, you're so very right ^^

  4. I say no to not being too old for kawaii! If you like something and it's not harming anyone then who cares. My mom made a comment like your niece and I am quite a bit older than you and it was just rude and I am finding myself not buying as much kawaii as I once would because of that comment. Now I am off to go make a Sanrio.com purchase! =)

    1. I WOULD HATE THAT! I know what my mum think about me fondness for kawaiiness, but she would never (ihope) tell me that. Her thought about it's ''atleast it's better than drugs'', tss .. ^^,

Sanrio.com? I'm jealous! I'm swedish, we don't have sanrio shops here!

  6. Never let anyone tell you you are too old!

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional ;)

I think you have some very adorable hello kitty things!

  7. My co-worker (70 years old) tells me all the time...That age is only a number. You are as old as you feel.

With that said you are only 18 and that is still plenty young enough for hello kitty.

  8. HAHA. Sory that it made you sad but you are certainly not alone with enjoying stuff you may be too old for. My dad got my christmas list and told me that he'd never be able to tell based on my list that I was actually 22. I also host disney movie nights regularly. Don't start acting old. Make old people things what you want!
